The start of a beautiful, even makeup starts with your day care! Well-hydrated skin is the secret for a radiant day - and or evening make-up!
So apply a moisturizing serum, eye cream, day cream in the morning after your cleansing and don't forget to take care of your lips with a lip balm!
Step 1: As a basis for smooth skin you can choose from (NOT for color);
1) a tinted day cream
2) a liquid foundation
3) a compact cream foundation
4) a loose powder foundation
5) a compact powder foundation
You can apply the foundation with your hands, a make-up sponge or a make-up brush. When you apply the foundation with your hands you work very transparently and naturally. If you would like to apply your make-up with a make-up sponge or make-up brush, you will work a bit more covering. A foundation is NOT used to give color to your face. It is used to smooth and refresh your skin!
You can apply a foundation all over the face, don't forget your eyelids and your neck to avoid spots and stripes.
Step 2: you can then apply a terracotta or blush to accentuate your cheekbones (give your face a healthy glow / narrow if desired)
These are available in different shades of sand colors, light pink or peach shades. With and or without glass / sparkles. With this you will give color to your face.
This is applied in a triangle shape, starting from the cheek to the hairline next to the eyes. Always apply to the cheekbone, so you're always in the right place when you make a fish mouth to make the cheekbones more visible.
Step 3: accentuate your eyes!
You can work with 1, 2 or 3 color eyeshadow on your eyelids. So 1 is a light basic color, 2 is an accent color for above your pupil and the 3rd color is the darkest color. Eyeshadow also exists in different textures:
1) compact powder eye shadow (most common and known)
2) loose powder eye shadow
3) liquid cream eye shadow
4) cream eye shadow in pencil / stick form / compact form
Which is best now, also depends a bit on what your preference is in terms of use.
Yes you can use a soft neutral color such as beige or pink all over your eyelid. You can use this color alone or as a basis for a more pronounced eye makeup.
The second or middle color, which gives accent to your eye color, you use in the middle of your eyelid above your pupil. That way the eyes seem even more expressive. Apply this only to your moving eyelid.
Apply the 3rd and darkest color all the way to the end of your eyelid (from center to outside). This provides the finishing touch and a softer look. Tip: use a small amount first, if necessary use a little more if it is allowed to darken. Only apply this to your moving eyelid.
After applying eye shadow you can finish with an eyeliner. These exist in a liquid form with a brush or in a pencil form. Which is the best depends on what you enjoy working with easily.
Finally we let the eyes speak with a nice fine layer of mascara, this makes your eyelashes darker, fuller and the curl of your own eyelashes is emphasized.
Step 4: Let those eyebrows speak
Do you like to have a little more expression in your face than in advising to use your eyebrows a bit with an eyebrow pencil? You can easily apply this in small stripes to simulate the hairs a bit.
These exist in different colors so that it is certainly not too loud. You can also choose from different textures here:
1) an eyebrow pencil
2) an eyebrow powder loose or compact
3) an eyebrow mascara
Here it also applies again what your preference is in terms of texture and what you find pleasant to use.
Step 5: Let your lips speak!
You should certainly not forget the lips, you can light them with a color or just very bright. But remember that they give your face a healthy color!
There are many types of textures for the lips. You can choose from ;
1) a glossy lipstick (feels pleasant and soft)
2) a matte lipstick (feels slightly drier)
3) a lip gloss
If you like to accentuate your lips nicely, you can use a lip pencil. You can outline your mouth with this. If you would like a more intense and fuller effect, you can first color the lips with the lip pencil and apply the desired color with your lipstick. That is also a super TIP to keep your lipstick super long.
This way your makeup is completely ready. If you want to enjoy your makeup even longer, you can use a fixative spray that your makeup.
