New perfume from Amouage is the Interlude Black Iris Man. (2020) This is a spicy, woody Eau de Parfum made by perfumer Pierre Negrin with a concentration of 25% fragrance oil. At the heart of Interlude Black Iris Man you will find incense and myrrh, which makes a very powerful oriental perfume. Bergamot, Rosemary and Violet Leaves evoke constant intervals of conflict, which are countered by notes of Amber, Frankincense, Cistus and Myrrh. A layer of Orris Absolute and Vanilla provides peace in the Interlude Black Iris. Finally, notes of leather, Agarwood Smoke, Patchouli, Sandalwood and Cedarwood in the base provide lasting depth and power.

Oregano and Rosemary notes are toned down, resulting in an opening that feels slightly more sparkling and wetter, with the addition of Violet.
